‘To develop a social network amongst the ex-service men and women of Fife through which the difficulties of returning to civilian life can be eased and the unique service camaraderie maintained.’

We are a cross section of veterans representing the three services with a depth of experience ranging from Malaya to the Falklands and the Gulf. Our objective is to offer a forum for ex-service men and women to socialise amongst friends with similar backgrounds.

We recognise that returning to civilian life from the insulated environment of the armed forces can be both demanding and confusing. Every member of our group has experienced this at some stage and it is possible that the problems you face might have already been overcome by one of us. Therefore at every opportunity we encourage members to offer their experience to each other in order that we can all benefit from that knowledge.

Our meetings are very casual and informal affairs with a very welcoming atmosphere. Tea and coffee are readily available and there is a pool table and dart board should you wish to use them. Membership of the British Legion is not mandatory, however it is encouraged if you wish to take advantage of the facilities such as regular social gatherings, snooker and bar.
